Open Year-Round
Rolling submissions. No deadlines. Every accepted film gets a screening date.
Open to filmmakers worldwide. All genres accepted. No restriction on prior screening history — films that have played other festivals are welcome.
No runtime limits. Films under 30 minutes are classified as Shorts; 30 minutes and over are classified as Features.
Films must be submitted via a private or unlisted online screener link (Vimeo preferred). The screener must remain active and accessible through the review period. Non-English dialogue must include burned-in or selectable English subtitles.
Borderless Arts accepts entries year-round on a rolling basis. There are no submission deadlines — films are reviewed and selected on an ongoing basis as they're received.
Filmmakers are typically notified of their status via FilmFreeway within 2–4 weeks of submission. Selected filmmakers will be asked to provide a poster, stills, and trailer (if available) for program materials, and will be notified of their assigned screening date once scheduled.
Filmmaker attendance is not required.
